The highest reward for a person’s toil is not what they get for it, but what they become by it.
Self-love, true self-love, does not have qualifiers. There are no specific actions required. I don’t have to lose weight, be beautiful, or be healthy to love myself. I can be fat and love myself the way I am. This doesn’t mean I am not allowed to change or that I am giving up on myself. It means that I have a right to my body and I have a right to make choices regarding my body. It means that I love myself, period.
